The item i received is WRONG. I ordered for Black creation brand because of its high quality but they delivered GREY tortox brand with low quality. Its like i can use it once and need to dispose it after. DON'T ORDER THIS ITEM AND FROM THIS SUPPLIER. :(

Doesn't work on my TV. Shouldn't have bought it

I use this cable for a projector display. The connection I have is USB-C>HDMI --> Active HDMI>VGA --> Projector. I haven't had any issues with the cords recently. I have only used this to watch videos and play games, but so far so good! I have also connected this to a TV via HDMI. This works like any other HDMI cable would.DELL XPS 13 USERS, PLEASE READ: I recently had a problem with this cable because my laptop would not recognize the device when plugged in. All I did was go to Dell's support website and downloads driver and software updates, and changed one BIOS setting, and I was golden! To change the BIOS setting, press F12 on startup, look for Thunderbolt 3.0 in the menu, and under security settings, select no authorization.

In product Q&A it says this device will work on a Lenovo 910. It does not. Maybe the one I got is defective? In the product pictures it shows a Lenovo 910 and tells where to plug the cable in. Device that I am using: Acer Switch Alpha 12. (BRAND NEW)DEVICE IS DP ALT COMPATIBLE. I know that that is a requirement for the adapter to work.Whenever I plug this in, my second monitor intermittently goes black every ~15-20 seconds. After 3-4 seconds of the black screen, the display returns to normal. Naturally, this makes it very hard to get any work done. There are also flashes of static across the screen about 1x a minute.I know that the problem is with the product, and not anything else because:- My PC is brand new with excellent ratings and no customer reports of display problems- My PC is DP ALT compatible- The same problem happened on 2 different monitors that I tested. The monitors have never shown any display problems before.- The HDMI cable works fine when plugged into a PC that has an HDMI port.So, the only variable left in the equation is this adapter. Unless the seller replies to me with a suggestion on how to fix this, I will be returning this product and would not recommend it to anyone.If they suggest an effective solution, I will update my review.

This worked perfectly on my unlocked LG V20 (H910) phone, plugged it into my phones USB-C port, the other end into the HDMI cable I had plugged into the TV and in about a minute I was watching my daughters volleyball games in HD I had recorded, I also watched a live stream of NFL football just to see how it looked and it was just as if I was watching it straight from the TV, at least for me it gives a perfect picture, it seems well made and sturdy and for the price you cannot go wrong, just make sure your phone has the USB-C port.

...in some apps (like the ones you'd most like to use this for) "screen mirroring" is not permitted. For example, on my Verizon phone a few NFL games are available each week. But, when I went to watch one, I received a 'Screen Mirroring is not permitted for this app" error. That wasn't the 'fault' of this otherwise well made and functional adapter, of course. That said, I was able to use it to mirror CBS All Access, view pics and videos that I had taken, etc.And, be mindful that the USB-C slips into the phone jack, but you will need a male-male HDMI cable to connect to your TV or projector.
