Yeah its legit, i changed both ballasts for a total of $50. Other vendors were charging at least twice as much so we’ll see how long this last but its works perfect. I drive an 05 Acura TL 3.2

Worked perfectly. Kit even includes a new bulb also.Price was great .Prime delivered it next day. Very helpful since I had my front bumper off hoping it was just a bulb.Yes, you have to remove the entire front bumper to access bulbs or headlights on a 3rd Gen TL.Did have to drive car a little in town without front bumper the next morning before Prime arrived.Bungee cords keeping the plastic fender liners off the front tires.Do what you gotta do , when you have to.

After going to the trouble of taking the front end off the car and removing the old headlight, i find there is a grounding wire that needs to go from the igniter to the ballast and this wire is 2 inches too short. I had to jury rig a piece of wire to extend this, and I’m not convinced this is going to work long-term. But I sure as hell was not going to put everything back together without at least trying to fix this grounding wire so it would reach the ballast. Unfortunately, since I only had one piece of wire on my tool bench, I wasn’t able to do a proper job on this, it took me an extra hour of fighting with the wrong gauge wire that I had if you order this part anyhow, and find this problem is the same for you, do not remove the old igniter wire. Instead reuse the old one. The odds are good that the old ignore won’t fail as often as these ballasts. The ballasts are known to fail frequently on this car so the problem probably is the ballast. The igniter is the cap that fits over the rear of the bulb. The ballast is the thin box underneath the headlight.

Enjoyed being able to fix the problem with the headlights by replacing all questionable parts in the system. I assumed it to be the bulb but after testing the circuit and components it was the ballast. All parts were replaced, and I have no worries about my highlights not functioning in the future. This product eliminated any doubts with the headlight components within the light assembly.

Had some low beam issues with my headlights not turning on and sometimes one side turning on and not there other. Ordered these ballasts for my 02 Acura TL and my headlight issues were fixed!! Fit perfectly as well.
