EDIT 3/2/1019: The two transformers installed back in 2016 are still working perfectly, even with daily use. I'm back to buy a few more for a new project!I bought two of these transformers for a bookcase lighting project using 24V LED tape lights. Both work exactly as they should and do not make any noise. For my project, I attached a dimmer control to each transformer and mounted them to the undersides of cabinet shelves (pic provided of one transformer installation). It's not easy to see in the Amazon product pic, but these transformers are tabbed at the ends for easy mounting. Just use screws to secure the transformer into place. I'm very pleased with how these work and will buy more for upcoming LED tape light installations.

Nice package - very small, very neat. Using it for a couple of 3watt LEDs, so I expect a very long life, as long as it's truly waterproof.6/25/18 - ok, my lights have been intermittent for the last couple of months; I assumed they really weren't too waterproof. But I checked today, and the lights are fine - my iCreatin, rated at 12 volts, is outputting 6-7 volts. It has been outdoors, but in an enclosure, so I can't blame the elements, and it's supposed to be ip68 waterproof. Maybe I'm expecting too much of a $12 item, but if it's advertised as "superior quality", well, maybe. But it's cheap, so I'll probably order another one anyway.

I'm at least the second person who got one with a reversed input/output label and blew out the first one wiring incorrectly. The replacement had the label correctly oriented and I wired it up. It works very well. I had tried to replace my kitchen under cabinet halogen lights with LEDs and they flickered badly. But when I replaced the transformer with this one, they worked perfectly--no flicker and much brighter. This is a great solution to switch to LED because standard under cabinet LED lights seem very expensive, while replacement LEDs and this product are quite inexpensive. The only reason for four stars is the backward sticker on the first one, which wasted quite a bit of my time. These companies need to be better about quality control issues. So I recommend it, but if you buy one, don't trust the label! The input has three wires (one for ground) and the output has two.

I needed an led driver that supported a 208 volt input voltage, and this was the one I found first. It’s been on 24/7 for the past 3 or 4 months; but we’ll see how it fares long-term

I bought 2 of these to retrofit 2 light fixtures in my kitchen. I used each to power a string of 20 .75w modules of Samsung 5630s. In total each is powering 15 watts of LEDs which should be well within the operating range of the 36 watt nominal power supply. At first they were great, running 3-4 hours per day. After nine months in one case and a month or two thereafter in the other case the LEDs began to flash on and off about once per second rendering the fixtures unusable. I tested the LEDs with a regular power supply and they work fine, so it is clear to me that these are not durable units. In view of my experience in 2 of 2 cases, I cannot recommend these for daily use. Perhaps they would be ok for occasional use, but I don't think I would take the chance given the other choices available.

This is a great little unit that I purchased to light up 2 strips of LED lights around my koi pond. The unit is waterproof but I did decide to mount it in my garage and run the output 24v cables to the outside, just to keep it dry. The unit does run warm/hot, but it is silent and appears to be solidly built. I would definitely recommend this transformer to anyone looking to power any LED light strips.

I generally like the PS (purchased two of them). However, please be prepared to map out the electrical connection as the wire colors are different from the typical (RBWG) in a lot of homes. Whip out your volt meter to be sure. There are ZERO instructions included. But again, the PS works fine and so far hasn't gotten hot. But I made sure I am only using about 20 watts max for my project.
