K&F ConceptLens Mount Adapter,Nikon F Mount Lens to Nikon 1-Series Camera, for Nikon V1, V2, J1, J2 Mirrorless Cameras

I bought this adapter to mount my dad's old AI lenses to my Nikon 1 J5. I set the camera to Manual as suggested and the whole setup works flawlessly. The camera meters properly. Shutter speed, ISO and exposure adjustments may still be changed freely on the camera. Aperture and focus are of course adjusted manually on the lens. The build of the adapter is very sturdy, and all metal as advertised. I'm very happy with my purchase, and the price was excellent! I works correctly with my dad's old Soligor 2X teleconverter and my Nikon 1 mount extension tubes. I could not be more pleased with this little (but hefty) piece of hardware.

Build quality seems exactly fine, except I received the FD->NEX version, rather than the Nikon F ->Nikon 1 that I ordered. I have been sidelined in this project for a long while, and just figured out the problem now that I've started the effort again. ***Would LOVE if K&F would contact me for an exchange for this completely unused and unusable item. I very much expect that I'd happily be changing my 1-star to 5-stars, once I get the right product and confirm it's working as expected.***

Works great, using a huge cinema lens on the nikon 1 is as good as i thought it would be. It does make the lens slower, so you do need a lot more light, but it works fine outside during the day.No automation, so everything has to be manual, but this is 1/10th the cost of the official FT1 adapter.

If you're used to OEM Nikon cameras and lenses, you know they fit very nicely and mounting a Nikon lens to a Nikon camera is a smooth operation. This adapter, on the other hand, makes it feel like something is going to break or that polished surfaces are going to be scored because you have to apply a lot of force to make it fit on the camera and then also fitting a lens to the adapter.The mount is purely a mechanical connection. There are no electronic contacts on either end of the adapter so don't expect your F-mount lens to communicate with the camera with this adapter. That means no auto focus and no auto aperture. It also locks out some modes of operation on the camera because they rely on the communication between the camera body and the lens.

Works as listed and I received the package wayyyyyy sooner than I thought which is a plus! I ordered a Nikon AI lens off of ebay that works perfectly with it. If you are connecting to a Nikon J1, remember to set the "Exposure" in the menu to "Manual," or you will keep getting the "Check Lens. Pictures can only be taken when a lens is attached."

this did not work. the camera alert was "there is no lens attached" and i could not do anything. I tried Nikkor and Tamron lenses and both failed. I ended up buying the Nikon brand adapter for over 10x the price and that one works

Good product simple to use and exactly as described

This product did not meet my expectation.

This is a well made bit of kit. However whilst it fitted my Nikon J1 5 and my Tamaron lense I was not able to get a decent picture. I suspect if it had been a Nikon lense all would have been well. Alas it had to go back.

Sembra ben fatto, e ben realizzato. si lega bene al mio sigma 400 senza giochi o movimenti strani, Spedizione ultrarapida. Non supporta gli automatismi: messa a fuoco, e diaframmi si usano solo in manuale, per gli obbiettivi DR nei quali manca la ghiera dei diaframmi diventa un problema si lavora a diaframma fisso.

Pedido realizado en tiempo y forma indicados. Soy novato en esto de la fotografía y compré un objetivo que no era compatible con mi cámara. Este adaptador a pesar de que me parece demasiado grande, cumple con su cometido y tiene un precio asequible. Es metálico. Yo recomendaría su compra

Mit diesem Adapter habe ich ein altes manuelles Teleobjektiv an meine J5 angeschlossen. Ich bin sehr zufrieden.Die J5 ist auf Betriebsart "M" gestellt, anders funktioniert es nicht. Scharfstellen ist ein bisschen schwierig, aber ich mache einfach mehrere Aufnahmen. Durch den kleinen Sensor wird aus dem Teleobjektiv ein echtes Spionage-Objektiv. Sehr witzig.Ich könnte mir vorstellen, das moderne Nikkor-Objektiv nicht so gut funktionieren, weil der Adapter NUR manuell funktioniert. Aber alte manuelle Objektive aus den 80ern sind damit super-cool. (Vorsicht, bei großen und schweren Objektiven NICHT an der J5 anfassen und halten, sondern immer das Objektiv mit der linken Hand halten und rechts wirklich nur auslösen!)Was mich etwas gestört hat war die winzige Sicherheitsschraube, die ich vor der ersten Verwendung entfernen musste. Ich hatte keinen so kleinen Schraubenzieher, und habe deshalb die Spitze eines Taschenmessers benutzen müssen.Ich bin mit der Produktqualität sehr zufrieden.

Cette bague adaptatrice remplie parfaitement sa fonction, monter les objectifs de mon reflex sur un petit compact Nikon 1 J4. La bague est en métal et semble robuste. Elle ne possède aucun connecteur et la mise au point devra se faire manuellement. Point important, le Mode Automatique ne fonctionnera pas, il faut utiliser le mode M. Je l’utilise avec un Sigma 70-300 pour des photos de la lune ou en animalier. Aucune idée du "comment gérer l’ouverture" avec les objectifs n’étant pas équipé de bague dédié à cette fonction. Se destine avant tout à des utilisateurs avancés..
