Our honey is 100% raw and unfiltered, straight from the Sonoran Desert. Each flavor is unique, AKA, we don’t blend varieties together like the other guys… And we are kosher, SQF Certified (yup, we have an uber-clean processing warehouse), family owned, and we won Arizona’s best honey in 2017! Deep in the Sonoran Desert lies the mythical mesquite tree. A favored fuel source for backyard barbecues, this tree is well-known for its rich, smoky flavor. Mesquite trees thrive on adversity and require drought conditions in order to produce sufficient nectar for bees. But out of diversity comes strength, and the mesquite tree ultimately results in the one of the most sophisticated honeys of the world. Our honey bees eagerly flock to the clusters of fragrant yellow flowers that bloom each spring to feast on nectar from the Honey Mesquite (prosopis glandulosa) and other unique varieties in mesquite “bosques” (Spanish for forests). The result is a light, amber-colored honey that is as distinct as the Sonoran Desert. We sought out the most remote and wild locales to place our hives, which allows us to bring this unique, multi-layered honey to gourmet honey aficionados around the world.
