This is a nice little safe for home use. It looks exactly like the listing photo. It is electronic (battery included but must be replaced over time) as well as includes 2 backup keys. It can sit on a shelf, etc., or be recessed into the drywall. It is very heavy/sturdy and easy to use in addition to being reasonably priced compared to others its size. 2 things that are important to know: (1) The backup keyhole access is behind the logo left of the keypad numbers on front. It is not easy to tell that and I didn't see it in the manual telling my to use the key and snap the little panel off to see the keyhole. (2) The combination code will not work if the battery dies, it cannot be used to open the safe.I contacted customer service from the RNPB website almost a year after purchase to get help finding the keyhole. I called as well as sending a follow-up email. I missed several of Joshua's immediate return calls, but he left a message. I also got prompt reply to my email from Luna. This company offers a variety of quality items, is VERY reliable, and I cannot recommend them highly enough!

I can’t tell you how amazing the customer service was when I had issues programming it and went above and beyond to replace it and it was my mistake on reading properly the manual. We got this safe for our kids electronics and it has been perfect for us! Our kids have either broken into or somehow deciphered every thing else we have tried to put their electronics in. We decided to try an actual safe and I love that this has a code AND a key, and not only that but they don't even know there is a key to it since the keyhole is hidden! (They definitely would be searching the house to find the keys if they knew!) I love that the keypad sound can also be turned off. My kids are Harry Houdini's so they could listen for the number of beeps we put in and eventually figure it out like the rest of our locks, but since we turned off the sound, they have no idea how long our code is! It has kept our sanity in check ever since we purchased this! It's large enough to put a chrome book, video game controllers, tv remotes, Switches, a VR headset, and if we took out the shelf, a large laptop. So far, we are very happy with our purchase!

Decent enough safe, keeps the amateurs busy.

The kids were sneaking devices at 🌙night. This is what I use now! The mounting holes were "almost" big enough to fit a charging cable. I just opened it up with a larger drill bit, which was easy to shave and took 5 seconds. I ordered the safe in June 2021 and it works great. The safe still looks brand new there is a shelf its not adjustable but you can remove it. There’s also fabric at the bottom that can also be removed. It does have holes in it from mounting to like a wall or a cabinet so I don’t recommend getting it wet. It’s quite small, so it makes it easy to hide or put in a safe place. When it’s empty, it is a little heavy, but it’s not so heavy you can’t carry it. I would definitely recommend if you were looking for a safe, it does have an alarm. However I don’t think it’s fire proof or fire resistant so that could definitely be an issue. It also comes with 2 keys in case the battery dies, which are not included.

If you think it through, people who are out to steal from you in the middle of the night only have so much time. This is not a Brinks truck however - it held. They hammered the outside -- pulled the keypad - tried their best to rip it open but to no avail. Naturally I'm thrilled to death that my stuff is still my stuff. I'd recommend you put one of those little trackers inside because if they took this with them - I'd be SOL as I had no tracker. However - even though this was not a common case (and I won't go into detail) I was able to recover the safe and everything inside.. still my stuff.. it was was kept safe - hence the name I guess. In hindsight I would get a little tracker - and I haven't researched it yet - but somehow find a way to glue that tracker inside so it's not noticeable. Whoever is stealing your stuff is not going to be able to crack this open on the spot so would naturally take it with them - and if they do, they'd be nailed if you have a tracker inside it. So I'm very happy that it worked. I feel there is no better deal for the money as this has proven to be very hard to defeat. I'm glad I bought it even though now I have to buy another one. The safe didn’t looks very strong and well made… I hoped that it will be stronger, heavier to hold precious things, definitely cannot put them inside
