Wildthings Swan & Duck Food Nuggets Wild Things 1.5Kg

We have a small houseboat that we spend every other weekend on, and we have lots of ducks on the lake that are friendly beggars. My wife saw these nuggets and decided to try them. The verdict was immediate. The ducks LOVE these nuggets. They do, in fact, float for quite a long time - time enough for the ducks to swim over once they see us toss them off the back of the boat. They are made in England, and we've noticed a bit of a British quack here and there since using them - very proper, you know! Seriously, your ducks will love you forever if you feed them this food.

Feeding bread to waterfowl is a no-no, as this food is unhealthy for the birds. When I visit a nearby lake where birds are used to being fed, I feel good about scattering this more nutritious food to them. Birds love it; they flock towards me as though I am St. Francis of Assisi himself. Feeding the waterfowl is a good way to get them closer for photography. In terms of the ethical issue this raises, I only do this in locations where the birds already are being fed by people, and I figure at least this way they are receiving some real nutrition, not empty calories.

Just received tbis and all the ducks loved it. I love how it floats on the water and doesn't creat a mess. I'm trying to educate my nieghbors not to feed them bread. It takes a while to get this but well worth the wait.

i bought this product recommended by a friend, but it turns out the swans that i feed would rather have bread. haha. but on a more positive note the seagulls love it.

The ducks and geese love this and it's so much better for them than bread. It is alittle pricey. That is my only issue with the product.

Love this wild duck food! We use it to feed 3 puddle ducks (domestic ducks) that were abandoned at our local lake. Because it floats we can feed it to them without the pigeons getting it all. It makes me happy that they are getting nutricious food. Wish they had a larger bag option!

My nephew moved into a house to attend his university. Much to his surprise, he started getting visits by some local ducks. At first he started feeding them some bread. After some research he realized that that might not be the best to treat them with. So, we purchased the Wildthings Swan & Duck food to make sure we weren't harming them. They make it a point to come by almost daily, which he thoroughly enjoys!

Kind of expensive but knowing this is good food for the ducks and geese in our little lake it is great!!
