Every woman should have one
This is a wonderful way to do makeup. Took pics to upload but haven't figured out had to do it yet. It would show a real difference. Older woman, dark spots, wrinkles, etc. and it mutes them all. Cheaper and safer than a facelift. I use it everyday because its so easy. Art of Air has a few things I really like, it isn't loud, its adjustable, The foundation colors are great and you can closely match skin tone. Takes a few tries to figure out the best way to use it and a youtube video by a woman with a cute accent (forgot her name) and a sense of humor helped a lot. It is important to clean this after every use and to do the deep clean (look for info on youtube). Even though I did this it did stop spraying foundation, however with one call got a replacement. I couldn't go back to regular make now.

Very hard to keep clean
This is pretty simple to use just add about 6 drops of makeup and hold about 6 inches out and spray but if you are trying to cover wrinkles forget it .this does not work for wrinkles which was main reason I needed it so I may be returning it because that was the whole purpose of getting it.update I used this thing 1 time cleaned it and UT it up now its not working at all beware this is junk pay more and get a good one

Broke the 3rd time I used it
I really liked the product and it worked great the first two times I used it, but on the third time it broke and is now unusable. The little trigger on top came lose and it can no longer turn on the spray of air/makeup. Worst part is it's just 2-weeks past the date I could have returned it. I paid close to $100 for just 2 uses! Don't throw away your money on it!!

Very disappointed in the quality of the machine and that the machine did not blow air
I was very disappointed when I receive the product and VE the motor did not allow the air to flow good enough to airbrush any make up it only squirted very faint drops of make up when I tried to call I couldn’t get through over and over again and I couldn’t understand them because they had a problem speaking English and I was also having a problem trying to get something information to refund this product so I ended up being stuck with it customer service could’ve been a lot better and may be a few Maybe a few more colors or a little bit larger bottles

Great, long-lasting coverage in all conditions...easy to use with an excellent price!
I have never used an airbrush kit and purchased this for home use. I was hesitant after reading reviews that essentially said the make up itself wasn't the greatest and selection was scarce...but that the compressor and airbrush were better than some of the $200 or $300 models. I decided to bite the bullet and buy it because I figure the airbrush/compressor is what matters and the make up I can always replace with a brand I like better as long as it's water-based and intended for airbrush. So anyway...I ignored the instructions from others here that suggested you practice a bunch of times before you try to wear it out and ordered this specifically in time for meeting my significant other's peers and boss at his work picnic at a local winery for the first time. I received the kit at my doorstep about 3 hours before the event, ripped it open, set everything up, scanned the directions, and basically started using it right away. I was displeased that the airbrush cleaner was already "wet" on the outside and apparently leaks very easily. The bottle doesn't stay airtight even after I wiped it down and tightened it which makes me feel like the bottle design on that is cheap and sort of makes it like I cannot take it with me "traveling" at all. The compressor is easy enough as far as just play around with the dial and guesstimate which setting is best for you personally....but the instructions tell you specific numeric settings...and the compressor only has "dashes" and no numbers at all. So keep in mind that you will be guessing how high or low you have it and there are no numbers or words on it to match the recommended numeric settings on the instructions for various applications like eyeshadow, foundation, etc. That aside...I was very pleased with what I got for the price. I found the "small circles" thing to work only for certain areas and basically applied the make up my own way as far as using the primer (I sprayed that liberally all over and waited several minutes for it to dry). I bubbled water through the the airbrush in between colors, but am fairly pale and found that "Sand" was perfect for me. The "yellow blush" everyone is talking about in the reviews here truly IS actual yellow and would never be used as a blush OR bronzer, so I decided to use it for under my eyes (since yellow conceals blueish tones and dark circles) and found that concealing under the eye wasn't that difficult as long as you moisturize well and apply a light hand. Foundation took a few "turns" to not get it patchy since it was my first shot and I used the bronzer as a blush (looks fine for Summer) then applied the highlighter on my browline, my upper eye lids, and upper cheekbones. I found that a bit difficult to apply because if you press lightly and up close...you still get a "wet" result and need to wipe quickly and try again. I'm not sure if it's the make up or just that I'm not used to doing it, but I have no idea how you're supposed to apply eyeshadow and highlighter to small areas without getting a little closer. But closer seems to give a drippy result no matter how lightly you apply/how little air you use. What I found easiest was to just highlight from far away, add bronzer from far away....and then after it fully dried, I used a regular brush with a translucent powder to "dab" and remove shimmer from the areas I didn't want those things to be. I also added a brightening blush (regular powder blush) after applying the make up and had no problem with the make up "wiping off" like many people claimed. While the airbrush makeup DOES wipe right off if you try to touch or blend it while applying or a few minutes after applying....it does eventually "set" to the same degree any normal make up you are accustomed to using sets. We all "blot" with a tissue or oil-blotting sheets for a reason....because make-up smears if you actually wipe around with your fingers. I didn't find the finish to be too powdery, fake, or "crack" at all. And since I tested the kit for the first time before an entire event....I put it through hard times. The event we attended was outdoors in 95 degree weather and *of course* on the way there it started storming and raining (sooooo sweat, humidity, rain, and then after 6 hours of all of that....a late night bonfire, so adding heat to that). Despite wearing it to an event that encompassed all of the worst elements, I needed no touch ups or "wipes" and my make up didn't crack or melt all day and night. But I also know better than to "wipe" at make up, regardless of what kind you're wearing. I do wish that this brand offered a big selection of eyeshadows, different highlighters, blushes, etc....and will likely order my actual make up refills from another company/various companies to try out which I like best, but for a starter kit this is PLENTY of foundation, bronzer/blush, highlighter, and base for any person looking to get started. I think the quality of the actual make up was pretty good, I just wish there were more options, colors, definitely a top-coat/sealant would be a FABULOUS addition. The absence of sealant was a disappointment and I do have a "Coola" brand spray SPF/make up sealer in one at home....but wasn't sure if it would ruin the airbrush make up or interact poorly with it, so I didn't try it/risk it. Overall, the finished "look" of the make up is more polished and you have less running, fading, and spotty coverage throughout the day/night for sure....but if you're fairly good at regular make up, the difference in how it looks fresh isn't vastly different. But I'd still say this is a great way to get all-day coverage and make up that stays put without using as much or blotting and checking constantly. It doesn't set into cracks and wrinkles after a few hours as easily as traditional make up, either....you just have to be careful when applying it to begin with (keep your face relaxed and don't scrunch up your skin). Otherwise...I felt that the experience and look of this kit was fairly easy, fun, and great for long-lasting wear and less junk to lay around your bathroom. Even if I do purchase make up from other suppliers to try out with this kit, the price of this kit and the compressor/airbrush and basics they provide make it WELL worth the purchase price even if you don't plan to use it a lot. Some of the most expensive compressors/airbrushes out there are hundreds of dollars and significantly less easy to use/have less features than this one does after a lot of investigating on my part, so even without any of the included make up, I'd say this is a steal and choose this above the others for that alone. You can always play with other make up later. A good airbrush and compressor are really what makes the difference. **I have updated to 5 Stars after using this over time** August 30th, 2016 update: I just want to add that after several months of use, I'm thrilled with the make up and have NOT ordered other brands. This really saves on consumption of make up. And when I'm in rush or not looking to do real make up, I've taken to using the makeup without the compressor on a regular make up sponge and it blends SO beautifully compared to even my best normal makeup. I just apply drops of the foundation on a sponge, blot it into areas that need coverage, then blend. I still use the yellow blush as an undereye concealer and then apply the bronzer to the sponge as both blush and bronze. This takes less than 5 minutes and provides exactly what I'm going for... A dewy, bare look with just a bit of coverage and flush to look alive. When I do this look, I don't apply any eye make up or brow make up. I apply just the liquid make up in the kit and then swipe on a lip gloss or color. My mother as well as my significant other told me I looked "fresh" and "pretty" despite my disbelief (helloooo no eye make up?!) and especially on our beach vacation where make up is pointless mostly. I just wanted to add this because I've found brilliant and cost effective use for the make up on days where I don't want to use the airbrush OR my typical make up. It feels like water and doesn't show like make up at all. Great for ladies who are concerned about their skin tone, but uninterested in doing lashes, lids, or even lips. And that includes blondes, as I am currently sporting platinum blonde hair at 35 years old. Blondes tend to need *some color* to look alive. I find a swipe of the darker foundation (I have a bit of tan now), the yellow under eyes, and the bronzer on cheeks and forehead actually looks great! This kit is more versatile than I imagined! And the make up I'd great despite the lack of selection for reorder! **The first photo is AFTER swimming for hours at the beach with just the face make up I described in my update applied - no mascara, eye make up, or lip gloss. The second photo is face with mascara, shadow and clear lip gloss applied as described above. ***

Impressed so far
I just received this today and was able to set it up in just a few minutes. I decided to do a practice run after reading many reviews advising to do so. I have to say that, so far, I am impressed. I have never airbrushed anything in my life and this was super easy to use and I found the directions easy to follow. My results came out quite good considering I did not bother to moisturize or prime before jumping right into the foundation. I got nice, even coverage. It came out just a tad bit cakey but I am attributing this to my lack of moisturizing and priming and my first time using it. This was much easier than I expected and I think that my results will improve even more overtime. It was also quite easy to clean and only took about five minutes.

Worked well the first time, haven't been able to get good spray since. If it sprayed correctly I'd give it 5 stars.
I was really excited to try this, I've worn airbrush makeup for photos and acting in the past so I know how good it can look. I find it difficult to get a good spray since I first used it. I also bought a cleaning kit and use that every time after I'm done with the application (note: factor cleaning time in when you plan on using it - about 5 minutes). The instructions were not very specific about cleaning, but it came with two diagrams showing how it comes apart - and you do have to take it apart to clean it properly. I don't know now if the problems I'm having are due to clogs (doesn't seem like it) in the system or if I'm not putting it back together properly (the "needle" has to be in just the right position). I have a difficult time getting it to spray adequately and I've followed all the troubleshooting that came with this kit and the cleaning kit I bought. I found the colored make up (blush, white contour, and bronzer) seemed to clog it so I stopped using it and just apply my own makeup on top. I'm older and your skin really needs to be moisturized (but not have moisturizer on the surface) for this to look smooth and beautiful like they show. The makeup liquid has moisturizer in it, but it's not sufficient if your skin is dry, I apply moisturizer at least 30 minutes prior to application. I like the liquid (foundation) makeup, it feels light and goes on smoothly (when the sprayer works) and the cleaning solution works well and you don't have to use a lot. However, I suggest a basic cleaning kit, I got the Master Airbrush kit. There are a lot of brushes that are too big for the airbrush, but the jar is handy and you need the smaller brushes to clean out any clogs if you get them (I've seen professionals use them when they use their tools for several minutes and it gets clogged). It's easy to connect the airbrush pieces together and it seems to have enough power and it is easier to apply than I thought - I was a bit nervous, but practiced a couple times before wearing outside the house. There are several online videos you can watch, but most are advanced techniques, look for one that is about "basic makeup application" or similar.

The foundation does not stay on.
Customer service is great, but this is poor quality makeup. The airbrush functioned without any issues, and I really liked the ability to color match with 4 different shades to choose from. The carrying case is a nice touch and the compressor isn't very loud. I'm disappointed because it's been very hard finding a suitable foundation match for my skin. Not only was the final application very nice, I mixed and found my perfect shade. Unfortunately , any little nudge, wipe, touch, or rub of my face - IT COMES OFF. It is not waterproof, there's no staying power, my drugstore foundation is more reliable. I made sure my skin was not oily and properly prepped. Perhaps it needs to dry for longer? I bought this for work, and I sweat. I dribbled a few drops of water down my cheek and forget it. I would look absolutely ridiculous if I wiped any sweat from my face with this makeup on. If you have some suggestions, please message me. My guess is I am misunderstanding airbrush makeup and that it's for photo and print and not so much for the average working woman.
