This is an absolutely beautiful solid hardwood kitchen island at a great price. However, after we got it assembled and placed in our kitchen, we did not like the looks of the wheels at all. And even locked, it would still move around some on our hardwood floor. We went to Lowes and bought solid wood sofa legs that are 4 1/2" tall. My husband stained them to match the island and they look absolutely gorgeous! So much better than the wheels. It looks like a really nice piece of furniture now. I highly recommend this cabinet. I wish the manufacturer offered it with the wooden legs but the ones we bought were not expensive, under $8 each and then another $10 for the metal brackets that screw into the bottom of the island where you screw in the legs. Definitely worth it!

I wanted something for extra drawer space, and I wanted it to be wood. This unit is so easy to put together although you do need a screw driver for a few things otherwise it goes together well. It is Beautifully Crafted and it is heavy, but me being a woman of senior age I had no problem. It weighs about 100 lbs. The top comes separate in a different box. It will look nice in any home. It has 2 separate doors with shelving if you want to put that in. You can store higher things in there if need be. Overall I would rate this as a 10 if need be. You will not be unhappy with this piece.

This is probably the best item I have purchased in a long time. It is functional and stylish. We recently moved in to a new home with a kitchen that was not quite big enough to be an eat in and was short on counter space. This island Cart fit the bill perfectly. We drink a lot of coffee so it mainly functions as our coffee center, but it comes in handy when extra food prep space is needed and has plenty of versatile storage space. i just have to attach some photos.

Received this yesterday and assembled it this morning. Took about 3 hrs to do and that's by a 66 yr old slightly disabled old fart. Everything was there that was supposed to be and was shipped in two boxes. Lower unit in the first box and top shipped in the second box which was a good idea because it is heavy. Everything fit together just perfect and no missing parts. Instructions were well illustrated and easy to decipher. One thing I did that wasn't called for in the instructions was to use wood glue on all joining parts just to stiffen it up a little. Once done it looks great and is solid as anything you could ask for.

I love it! When I first got it, I was intimidated by the 2 boxes it came in and all its pieces. However, I was able to put it together by myself w/o any help. Thankfully, I have a small power drill, so that helped me get the screws in quickly and tightly. I followed the detailed instruction step-by-step, so as long as you do so too, you will be just fine. I ordered the one with the natural wood top. And, as someone else mentioned, this is real wood...NOT sawdust. It came out pretty nicely, and I am proud of myself. All the drawers open and close smoothly and the doors lined up just fine, too. Whew!

The directions could have been a bit clearer, but it is a solid piece that looks great. All the parts fit together in its assembly (a sigh of relief after some other recent purchases). They sent me the wrong color, however -- I got the cherry instead of the oak, but am just too tired to go through the return procedure. So I have cherry.

Cart came in great packaging! box says it 'weighs over 70 lbs'..I'd guess closer to 85; had to use a handtruck to get it into the house. It's just beautiful! professional looking, I like the adjustable shelves, and put it to good use the moment it was finished. We live in a condo with extremely little storage, so we've been adding to our decor with items such as this one. Extremely pleased with this purchase!

Surprisingly high quality relative to cost. Easy assembly... One lady, completed in 1.5 - 2 hours. Would've been faster with a drill. I can tell this will make me happy for many years.
