Clear and well organized. There was a garbled proof in the secion on eigenvectors of symmetric matrices, however.

The book was in great quality with no writing, tearing, or bent corners. More than worth it!

Great print quality. I suggest getting the hardcover version. Good book for a second course in linear algebra. This book deals with the theory and more abstract parts of linear algebra, and stays away from the computational part. A background in analysis or experience with proofs is required, as well as knowing matrix manipulation, finding eigenvalues, etc. The exercises are challenging, and while the chapters are sometimes dry, it is overall good.

Well written. Easy to read and filled with details. I consider this one of the best books in linear algebra.

Everything went great as far as recieveing this item quickly and getting a item that was appropriately described. I would use this vendor again.

Excelente libro si deseas estudiar por tu cuenta algebra lineal , ideal si estudias una carrera de ciencias ya que trae todo lo preliminar para cursos avanzados de este mismo tema.

Il percorso scelto dal libro per insegnare l'algebra lineare, a mio parere, è perfetto! Ci sono piccoli errori, ma raramente e facilmente individuabili! Io studio alla facoltà di fisica di Pisa e lo consiglio vivamente, da affiancare agli appunti del professore. Ma lo consiglio a chiunque voglia capire per bene la materia

The material in the book is great, as expected of Lang. Possibly my favorite basic Linear Algebra book. However the paper is very low quality.This is the second book by Springer with which I’ve had this problem.What has gone wrong with Springer lately?
