Effective and Festive!
These work extremely well as a bird perching deterrent -- if you live where it's sunny and there's a steady breeze. I have a bird feeding station close to my veggie garden, and these pretty pinwheels have kept perching on my cucumber trellises at a minimum. The only recommendation for improvement is regarding the pointed tips at the bottom. They keep popping off; so I recommend super-gluing them if you don't want to keep re-attaching them.Other than that, I'm really impressed with these pinwheels. They're well-made, super shiny, and keep the birds off my veggies. Hopefully the seller will be able to get more in stock, as I've had inquiries as to where I got them.

Excellent Customer Service that stands behind their Product!
I am changing my review from 2 stars to 5 stars because of the sincere and timely response from Ohuhu to my original review that one of my pinwheels did not work and some of the caps came off. Ohuhu promptly sent me a NEW set of pinwheels courtesy of Ohuhu! I understand products are not always 100%, but for a company to immediately respond to your concern and offer to send another set is what truly a company earns for being 5 stars! Thank you!Pinwheels look as advertised. One of the pinwheel blades was severely warped and kept hitting the post making it unable to spin. Caps also come off after being subject to continuous but light breezes.

Beautiful but
I got these to scare away this hawk that has moved into my area. Yea 3 cats and a dog but so far it's only taking the wild rabbits, but just to be safe that it doesn't decide kitty meat is good..NOPE DON'T DO IT!!It's said they will scare away hawks but it doesn't! That hawk just sits on my backyard fence right beside one spinning lol

Worked, but only good for one season.
These kept the birds away (in combination with bird netting for the sprouts) from my sunflowers. I have a cut flower garden, and these did the trick once I took the nets off, and before. However, about 4 of of them broke after the first storm, and I’ll have to buy new ones every year. Worth it to protect crops and sprouts, but wish they were more durable.

So pretty
Have these in different places around my house. Sturdy quality and hold up even through storms. Pretty colors when the sun hits them.

Satisfied
I have resident geese in the area. This past year they took to using my yard as a toilet to the extent that I felt that every square foot was covered in droppings. I don't mind geese at all but the yard had become unusable so I invested in a pack of these pinwheels and an amber light that flashes from dusk til dawn. Within a week after installation the goose visits were down dramatically and have continued so for the past 3 months. I wondered if perhaps the geese had moved on. However, I was able to catch a pic of the flock as it returned. They are sitting on adjacent property. Hopefully, you can enlarge the pic, see the pinwheels, the geese and the small fence (I can assure you the fence is NOT a barrier to the geese). The geese appear to avoid the area with pinwheels about 90% of the time. The pinwheels have held up so far for 3 months in mainly direct sunlight. One word of caution: I would tighten the small cap that holds the pinwheel in place on the rod mounting. A firm twisting motion as you press the cap down on the mount worked well. Before doing that little maintenance activity I had a couple of the caps fall off and the pinwheels blew off. Since tightening as described there has been no further problem. My experience so far has been quite satisfactory with this product. I plan to replace them as weather takes its toll or I have reason to believe they no longer function in their purpose.

Doesn’t work
After reading the reviews I had high hopes this product would work. I put them out last night. I wake up this morning with the same flock of turkeys destroying my yard amongst the pinwheels! The pinwheels are beautiful, easy to put together and sturdy.

These made me smile
Received these today to place in my garden. I have a mockingbird family that's been living in a shrub for several years now. Unfortunately they've begun biting chunks out of my tomatoes. I read that nets can cause a lot of problems, possibly killing and maiming birds if the get caught in them, and other animals may get caught also. It's a rather small garden space, so I've been searching for something economical, safe, and attractive. I ordered these pinwheels and also holograph tape to weave through the trellis' & tie on the top of tomato plant stakes.I must say they really made my day, and I am smiling ear to ear. I think they will work (fingers crossed). Most of all they are so darn pretty the way they sparkle in the sun. I am really happy with my purchase.

The Birds NOT afraid and these are NOT a deterrent
I bought these for my bird feeder but you can tell by the presence of pigeons it was a complete waste of money. I think they think they are pretty - but they're certainly not a deterrent.
