Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  I'm a little familiar with mandolin slicers. I have one that I bought a few years ago. It came complete with a whole rack of different blades, that take up a lot of space when they're stored and a mess to clean up. This one is going to take a little to get used to. But, I like the idea of it being a complete unit with all of the different blades and functions built in. No separate parts to keep track of, store or clean. This unit has blades that are razor sharp (careful!). The holder is connected to the body which should make for more uniform slices and safer operation. I'm not used to that kind of guide attachment. So, you don't have to use it if you don't like it. It slides off either end and you can simple use the holder itself. I tested it with some apples. Probably not my best option. But, it's what I had available at the time. The end result was great. Even with slicing about 1/8th of an inch thick, the slices were perfect. To get the 'waffle' cut, after each pass over the wavy cut blade, turn the produce 90 degrees. This is a great product. Five stars.

I love this slicer! Very sharp blades make for easy cutting of onions, tomatoes@ potatoes for French fries. It is easy to clean and change thickness of your slices. Would recommend.

I've had a couple different mandolins over the years but none like this. This thing is a beast! it is heavy, for one, making it easy to keep in place. It's got so many adjustable parts, giving just about every option for any fruit or veggie to be sliced. I've used it several times now, carrots, cabbage, zucchini, daikon radish, etc. The julienne option is my favorite, as I love to saute and it gives the perfect sized veggies for that. I have a feeling this is going to get a LOT of use.

It seems like a very effective mandolin. It makes such small fine shreds of apple and carrot - all of have tried so far. I guess my last star wasn’t earned because I am concerned that I won’t be able to clean it thoroughly because I can’t take it apart. The ‘cleaning instructions’ only deal with the safety pusher which does come apart for a thorough cleaning.

I really think it’s the best sliver ever, because all the options in one piece, no extra parts that you have to exchange.

Received promptly as advertised. Actually arrived early. Can be a little tricky on super hard foods like sweet potatoes. But it does wonders. You have to chop/dice the ends by hand like you would need to with any non electric foods slicer. But nice variety. I would avoid super hard foods though. Can be a lil dangerous.

The julienne blades were misaligned. One of the knobs wouldn't turn. Seems cheaply made.I went online to pull up a user manual to see if I was doing something wrong and could not locate a brand name. I checked the box and starter guide and the maker is not listed anywhere.

The safety hand steel needles puncture through what your slicing and you end up hitting the cutting blade which causes damage to the blade. Now my blade is ruin in the first use!

Funzionare funziona benissimo, attenzione perché taglia molto. Diversi spessori e formati da usare. L'unica cosa che per me è un po' difficile da usare perché ci vuole abbastanza forza per far scorrere i prodotti sulle lame. Diciamo che lo faccio usare al mio compagno. Si pulisce facilmente.

Das Teil ist sehr groß. Man kann es nicht wie eine kleine Reibe über eine Schale legen und losreiben. Was ich auch sehr ungünstig finde, daß man das komplette Teil jedes Mal reinigen muß. Entweder habe ich das ganze System nicht richtig verstanden.. oder... habe es mir praktischer vorgestellt.

Lo tuve que devolver porque de los cortes que dice que hace solo hace 1 de ellos bien sin atascarse. Se atasca bastante y no hace bien la cantidad de cortes que dice que hace, por lo que pra tener un trasto en mi cocina y que no cumpla su función lo he devuelto .

Die Auslieferung funktionierte nicht gut. Der bote war wohl erst in der falschen Straße.Ich holte mir Hilfe durch Anruf bei Amazon Kontakt. Das bestellte Produkt entsprach dem Bild,aber leider ist die Gebrauchsanweisung auf englisch und Abbildungen dazu sind klein und ungenau(nur mit Lupe). Ich kann kein Englisch .dieser Umstand wurde nicht erwähnt. Ich habe das der Versandtfirma per Mail mitgeteilt und um eine Überstzung gebeten. H.Reiter
