Not worth it AT ALL!!
So upset with this purchase. It is most definitely not worth $70!! I would have paid $30 for it. Not only is it NOT sturdy but it is cheap and broke while being put together.Don't waste your time or money.

Looks good....if you can manage to put it together without losing your mind.
Okay, 29 year old dude here who doesn't have a ton of craftsmanship savvy. I give this bookshelf 4-5 stars for looks once it is assembled. HOWEVER putting this thing together sucked balls! SUPER annoying and took at least an hour for me. First of all there are like 20 individual "L" pieces that you have to screw in by hand. But the holes you screw them in to are not pre-threaded...so they can be quite annoying/difficult to get to go in. Furthermore, the instructions on how to put the whole thing together SUCKED as well. Let me save you a huge headache and tell you to put the "L" pieces of step 7 in BEFORE you do step 6! So essentially make sure you do most of step 7 before step 6 or you might break the whole thing. Essentially, ALWAYS LOOK AT THE NEXT STEP BEFORE YOU DO YOUR CURRENT STEP! Crazy. Don't think I would buy again because I wouldn't want to go through the hassle. I'd much rather spend more money on something pre-assembled.

Crappy cheap Chinese bookshelf. Should have just gone to Walmart and spent $20 not $70.
This is just not worth the money. Crappy weak wood and really poor hardware. Thought Vasagle might be European mfg., no just really cheap Chinese made bookshelf. Way overpriced for the quality.

Cute little shelf!
Very cute and structure is well made. No unfinished sides or cheap pealing. Great size for my son.

It’s an okay shelf. Not handy? Don’t buy it.
Do you like building IKEA furniture and reading vaguely written directions? Enjoy having to prep holes in laminate over MDF with tender care BEFORE inserting cheap hardware? This may well be the shelf for you. It’s sturdy enough to store books and DVDs, some small tchotchkes and such. It’s an inexpensive shelf, you’re getting a build project. I build things for a living so this wasn’t challenging or frustrating enough to have me curse the heavens but it has it’s moments. You’ll need some decent floor space to build it, or a blanket covered kitchen or coffee table. A cordless screw gun helps, set to low torque and low speed. I used a gimlet to prep the holes for the screw in locking studs. Not the kind with vodka and ice, the ancient hand tool. It’s an okay shelf.

Stylish
This was kind of a nightmare to put together, but I blame me more than the product. I was able to get it together except the panel back for the middle section. The panel was a smidge too short and I couldn’t get the little screws in. Nails would have been better. We are using it as an entertainment station with our tv mounted on the wall above it. I do love how it looks and I’m glad we purchased it. Would buy again.

Good quality for price
A good alternative for the usual 'box' furniture. Fits everything well, good size, waist height. Only complaints are the only area that has a back is the middle shelves, and the top isn't as sturdy as I'd like. Even fully tightened it's a bit shakey (partly my fault as I hate tightening small furniture to the wall, especially since I use it for systems/consoles).

Buy a different unit
Thisi em looked great on the computer screen however: the set-up was much more difficult than it needed to be. The company had not predrilled any threads for the email posts and thus I had to hammer each one to get them started. The covers for the metal pieces are the wrong shade of brown and thus standout rather than blending into the finish. Not well thought out by the engineer. I would purchase a different unit if I had known these problems.
