Arban's is a great study book for trombone; a timeless classic. The mp3 accompaniment files for the Fantasies & Variations are terrific! One word of caution! Don't expect the mp3 files to come with the book in the mail (as I did)! After purchase of the book, you download the mp3 files from the seller's website. I did and it is easy to do. Thanks to the publisher, the seller and Amazon for providing this!

This book has a lot to offer for a trombone player of any level! It arrived in great condition and serves me well in my practices.

This is an old favorite of mine. It is one that all brass musicians would benefit by using. I think this edition edited by Ralph is a good advancement of the 2 earlier editions that I have used. My advice is to anyone using this read the instructions on how to do these exercises. I also found it useful to take it to my local Fedex office and have them cut off the binding and replace it with a spiral binding. I was very inexpensive and now lays flat on my music stand.

An excellent tutor which has stood the test of time. The adaption of what is essentially a cornet tutor has been very well worked. My only disappointment is that there are some pretty ancient solos and arias which, with respect ,have probably had their day and are of little value today. Some modern material progressing in the degree of difficulty would have been welcome.

My band director (a fellow baritone player) recommended this to me when i asked for something to keep me practicing in my freshman year of college. I love it. I could work at this thing for years and still not have every excerise and etude perfected. It’s loaded with challenging excercises for beginners and veterans alike. Just what I needed to advance to the next level of performance. Would definitely recommend.

Very Impressive with the amount of different methods and studies. Also the size of the notes fit the size of the page which is important!!

I bought this book for my daughter who plays music in high school. It has helped her learn the scales she needs to know.

Sin duda un clásico, uno de los mejores métodos para el estudio de viento metal.Es una versión muy barata con todo lo esencial. El único pero vendría porque es una pasta blanda, no idónea para el gran uso que se le da a este método.

Das ist ein sehr gutes Buch. Sobald man die letzten Kapitel durchstudiert hat, ist man auf einem sehr hohen Level.

Die Schule ist wirklich toll, sehr umfangreich, mit extrem vielen Übungen auf über 300 Seiten, die sehr schnell sehr schwer werden (was mir sehr gefällt). Die Schule ist also eher was für Fortgeschrittene.Den einen Stern Abzug gibt es wegen Amazon, es war leider nicht eindeutig von Anfang an zu erkennen, dass der Händler in England sitzt, weshalb ich da England nicht mehr zur EU gehört nachträglich bei der Post €12,- Zollgebühr (für ein Buch) zahlen musste.
