After a few casts the plastic lip separated from the body and the body went flying. Lip was still on my line.

The only lure I use from 6ft to 15ft deep water
I've caught small mouth, large mouth, rock bass, pike, perch, crappie and blue Gill all on this lure. It absolutely kills in southern Ontario.As you can see in the last picture it isn't incredibly durable, but this is from hitting bridges and rocks, and most importantly from teeth! This lure gets slammed over and over again.Because of all the cracks mine doesn't float anymore, but it's producing fish as good as ever. I reel in with a medium-slow steady retrieve and when I feel it hit a snag I pause and let the lure float up above the debris and then continue reeling. (This was before I cracked it)It dives to 6ft very fast and stays there. Trying to pull this lure straight up out of the water has as much resistance as a 2 pound bass because the lip is so well designed.If you crack it like I did some super glue will fix it right up, despite all the damage to mine it still runs true and hasn't needed tuning.Even considering it costing 20 dollars on Amazon and doesn't come with the easy hookup treble like it does on the Amazon picture it still gets 5 stars because of its ability to catch fish.By the way, If you want a floating lure that rattles it's going to be hollow plastic, so cracking it is part of the game, at least you'll get more fish in your boat.
