I have tried to get replacement spools for strimmers in the past and they haven’t been v good. These are though, and it’s a relief. Easy to slot in and they work fine. Glad I got 2.

So easy to fit onto McGregor MCT2X1825 strimmer. Good quality line, I'm glad I went for this one instead of the really cheap ones with the poor reviews.

This does the job, but beware: the spool cover is made from a harder, less flexible plastic than the cover on the original spool. As a result these spares break quite easily. AVOID accidents such as hitting a fence post or a rock etc while the motor is spinning, because the cover will break almost immediately. The cover that was on when I bought the McGregor MCT 1825 lasted almost 4 years through very heavy use. These SPARES2GO replacements never survived more than 3 to 4 half hour cutting sessions. I actually reckon it'd be cheaper to buy a new trimmer - instead of buying these every couple of months.

For the price paid it was really bad quality,the two spools lasted about 10mins and did not fit my McGregor strimmer properly.and the length of line on it was terrible and they are very small in size.
