I like the color and that it screws into a socked so no wiring needed. What I didn’t like is that you have to wind the cord around an arm that is a bit below the socket to get it the right length. Others have something similar to a clip design. Easier to get the correct length the first time.

This pendant cover for recessed lighting worked perfectly! Looks great and staying flush with the ceiling no problem. I recommend.

We have an old bathroom that has recessed lighting over the vanity. Tried many solutions but with three of these with 100 watt bulbs it still was too dark in there. I came across this beauty and was so glad I did! It screws right into the recessed light socket, you adjust the length you want it and slide the cover up add your choice of shade, screw in a bulb and voila! You're changed your lighting and look instantly with no electrician fee.I recommend that you wait until you've gotten your connector screwed in and your wire adjusted before you put on the shade and bulb, this allows easier installation without the extra weight. The cap and the medallion cover (not sure what it's called) are made of metal and in a very nice color which will go with many decor choices. To keep the medallion from sliding down a bit we just used a bit of tacky putty, the kind you hang up posters with, under the rim and it stays fine, looks like a permanent install, but even better if you're renting because you can take it with you.We were thinking of getting two more for the other recessed lights in there but even with only a 60 watt bulb being lowered the light is plenty now, brighter than the 300 combined watts, so a savings on the installation, you get to take it with you and a savings every day on your electric bill.

I bought these to upgrade our hallway from the boring can lights. This light system did not disappoint! So easy and no electrical knowledge needed. You don’t even have to remove the old can lights. Simply take out the bulb and screw into place!It was a little tricky to get the cord wrapped up to the height I wanted. They appear to be made for people that have really high ceilings. The instructions weren’t very clear, however I got it figured out. The challenge was getting the plate to stays tight against the ceiling and to get the wire to hang in the center. The first one took me almost an hour to figure out. The next three took less than 15 minutes!I ordered retro clear glass shades and used retro-look 60 WAT LED bulbs. It gives off a warm glow in our hallway. So nice!
