I really like this product. It smells nice and does its job. I can see from water in the container that it is absorbing moisture.

Product packaging was damp
This product pulls moisture out of the air, so the inside of the plastic bag was damp but the product seems fine. I don't know if putting a dessicant pack in with the packaging would help this issue.

Does the Job
Damp Rid does absorb the moisture, but the lavender scent wasn't for me. I used it, but my reorder will be for the regular non-scented version
