These are very effective—great design, aesthetically pleasing, even. I’ve been using mine for over a year and it’s still in perfect condition—no rust. Previously I'd ordered a mesh strainer that was terrible, and before that, one of those universal metal strainers that catches almost nothing and inadvertently closes off the drain, allowing the sink to partially fill with water. By contrast, this product never gets in the way of drainage. It is PERFECT at catching small particles of food, preventing them from clogging the drain or pipes. The one teensy downside is that, because the surface is slick and flat, small flat wet bits of food (like tea leaves) easily adhere to the strainer. They are not easily knocked off against the side of the garbage can—which is how I clean this thing in the morning. A minor annoyance that does not in the slightest prevent these from being effective. Moreover, it actually IS very easy to clean when I clean the rest of my sink with scouring powder and a brush. I wish I were as happy with all my purchases as I have been with this one. I am now here to buy a couple more for a different house.

This was a replacement for another style that I’ve had for years. The other one allowed small bits through and resulted in drain clogs eventually. This one does not allow anything through. And it fits well and looks great! Easy to clean. Sturdy. Attractive looking. I had a visitor in my home last week who said he was going to get one for his home.

Love having this in my sink instead of the twist drain for everyday needs. It picks up easily from under the edge. One can carry it to the garbage and just wack it agains the inside of the bag to empty.There is no knob sticking up so rags, dishcloths and sponges glide right over when swishing the sink. Stainless steel so I might just try running it through my dishwasher. I keep one twist drain so I can plug the sink when needed. Others in the family like its appearance and usefulness.

Replaced a plastic one with larger holes (about 1/8") that let stuff through. Also the plastic collected mold and the holes were inconvenient to clean. This one has small holes in a flat bottom. Doesn't let stuff through and is easier to clean because of the flat bottom and stainless steel. Cons: It can restrict the water drainage a bit because very small bits do not go through (which is good) and little holes get blocked. But it's easy to clean. Reason for knocking off one star (really half a star) is that it can slide a bit.

So simple to use and clean, plus they really work in keeping debris from ending up in the drain. Rugged and durable. They even look nice in the sink.

Older sink but perfect fit. I think I’ve had this close to a year…. They clean up very well and stop anything of any size from going into the drain. I use them every day.

I bought these to replace silicone ones that almost immediately got moldy and gross. These are easier to keep clean and work just fine. They have a bit of a cheap feel to them (very lightweight, feel a bit flimsy), but not enough for me to replace them. They look good enough and they get the job done. They are certainly MUCH easier to use than the stoppers that come with your sink. I only bring those out if I actually need to stop up the sink.

It serves the purpose and worth for the price go for it

Stainless steel kitchen sink strainers were available in a local hardware store long ago, but not anymore. It was great to find that this product is just as good and for a decent price. I would purchase these again in future for myself or my friends.

Does exactly what I want it to do - it catches all the bits after you finish washing up, and I've not had to unblock the sink since. Be careful though - the rim of the strainer cut my finger when I was emptying into the rubbish bin.

I looked all over for this item in physical stores and could not find the right product. These (it’s a two-pack) are perfect. They fit my sink perfectly. And the strainer part is not flexible (which I prefer). Very happy.
