i wanted a SMALL table top easel this was cheap and perfect and well made .. .i'm working on 6x6 and 9x11 canvases/paper at the moment and they work fine on this... i use a Sax Sketch and Draw Board, 12 x 18 Inches with this for pages (I use delicate surface painter's tape to tape the paper to the board) and it's perfect ... the 2 items together mean i can paint on any surface no issues and not spend a ton of money .i use this in my donna downey abstract florals classit folds small and doesn't have any wasted space for drawer or anything that might raise it up to high and make me 'reach' while painting.

I bought this to replace an older and heavier version that had a drawer and more features than I needed. For a convenient lap sized easel to rest a coloring book on, this version is perfect. Lightweight but sturdy.

I ordered one of these to help me read at the dinner table, an awful habit my dear wife benignly ignores. (One day many years ago, I came home late from work exhausted and hungry. Sitting down to a[nother] great dinner, I dug into it with the newspaper in front of me. My wife sat across the table, not eating, but eager to talk. I put the paper aside to give her my full attention, but she said, "Oh no, keep reading. Just say 'uh huh' once in a while." Is it a wonder we've been happily married over four decades?) My wife liked this book rest so much, I ordered another for her study desk.As an amateur woodworker, I admire the wood, the design, and the quality of construction (joints fitting well, finish, etc).So why not five stars?Because of apparent quality control issues. The first easel that arrived, I couldn't find a single flaw. The second one, three days later, was so much worse it was almost returned. In addition to patches of rough wood that needed to be sanded, the biggest problem was an impossible-to-miss large gouge in the side of the tongue. That piece should have been rejected at the factory. That it wasn't tells us the easel we receive could be either perfect or terrible, just as my two were. No way of knowing until it arrives.A pity, as otherwise this is a terrific product. Functional, even beautiful, inexpensive. But quality will be the luck of the draw.

Perfect to fit on a TV tray. Needed it when I was sick with Covid and had to be stuck in the bedroom away from family. Perfect to prop books up on and was great for my sketchbook too.Now it’s good to use in the tv room and is the perfect size.

I have run out of room in my small house, and have been moving some supplies to a differentroom, but did not have any extra easels. I ordered 2 of these for my room and they look andfit wonderfully . They are sturdy and fold nicely. I will order more as I need them..5 Star item

For the price, the frame stand was okay. However, not what I was expecting. So, to make it work, I relocated one painting to this frame holder, the other pictured frame to the former stand. Now, everything is in its place.

I needed a device to hold up a 3-ring binder on my desk for classroom teaching. This is a well-made, good-looking holder with adjustable angles, and it collapses to about an inch thick for easy transport. And for fifteen bucks, it's a bargain. Highly recommend.

I love this! It fits all my big recipe books. I like that it slants at different angles. And it folds up nicely to fit into my recipe book cupboard. Plus the wood looks nicer than plastic.

This is a real well-made easel for the price. Its perfect of tabletop painting/coloring...as our daughter (7) really likes it. I'd easily buy it again & can recommend it for any age.
