You will be receiving an 60 page, unbound, full color booklet of do-it-yourself instructions that will show you how to build a 14x20 One Bay Garage, with loft, from the ground up using your own materials. The booklet is a full-color, double-sided print out, on 8-1/2” x 11” paper, shipped in a clearpoly bag with a carpenter pencil. This post and beam garage design can also be configured to be used as a barn by installing a set of double doors instead of overhead garage doors. The step by step plans include directions for building in a rugged, post and beam, mortise and tenon framing technique featuring a materials list, comprehensive cut list, detailed diagrams, roof rafter templates and foundation guidelines for concrete slab, full foundation, crawl space and piers. This set of plans was designed with beginner carpenters in mind. Toll-free technical support is offered. The plans call for true-dimensional, rough sawn lumber to be used. Highlighted features of the One Bay Garage step by step plans include directions for wall, roof and sill plate framing, one overhang garage door opening, a side door opening, three windows and a loft. Once built the overall dimensions of the garage are 15’2”' wide and 21’3”' long (drip edge to drip edge) and 14'4" tall.
