Q: Have a digital out (opt) port on my old Hifi.Can this connect to that play music through the wired hifi speakers & also bluetooth to wireless speakers

I am not so technical but according to specification (3-in-1 TX/RX/Bypass feature and aux/RCA/optical full port support ensure this BT-B22 eligible to connect with almost all audio devices via Bluetooth/audio cable and transfer the sound freely.) yes.

Q: Will this work with cryus lyric 09 system and sony wh-ch700n headphones using aptx hd in tx mode using the aux input.

About aptx HD/LL feature, this required your Bluetooth headphone also support aptX HD/LL, otherwise the audio codec will be down to AAC/SBC as your headphone. And after checked on Amazon, sony wh-ch700n headphones is only support SBC, not support aptX HD/LL, so you can't get aptX HD audio when pair with our transmitter, the problem is not the transmitter, because of the headphone, please note.
