Well made
I used these on a motorcycle helmet intercom system in heaven rain and didn't have any issues at all.

Takes real pressure to seat, then it's fine
I just bought 2 of these 3-foot extension cables to be able to listen to audio on 2 different tower computers on the floor with 2 different sets of headphones, and still be able to change position in my chair. It requires much more force than I'd expected to fully seat a plug into the female ends of the cables. Until fully seated, which makes an audible click, the connection does not keep stereo channels separate. When the plug is fully seated the channels remain separate, and the plug is tightly held.At first, I was not fully seating the plugs into the female ends of the cables, and the 2 channels were being combined into mono. I could hear the content of both channels equally strongly through each headphone. On a channel check file which should have played first in one ear and then in the other, everything played equally in both ears until the plug was fully seated. It took several pounds of pressure to get the plug to click into position. I pressed with an electronic kitchen scale between my finger and the plug, and this seemed to indicate that it took between 60 and 80 ounces of pressure.I made a couple of images showing how it looks not fully seated, and seated. The amount of pressure required may also be different for different plugs. These are with the plug of a pair of Koss headphones which, last time I checked, the Amazon website hadn't gotten the information that I have received.

GOOD QUALITY CABLE
THE CABLE IS MADE LIKE THE ORIGINAL WERE OF A TOUGH RUBBER MATERIAL COATING.IT HAS THE FEEL OF A CABLE THAT CAN LAST FOR YEARS WHEN TAKEN CARE OF.

Cord was too long for my application
I thought the price was excessive for the single product. Cord was too long for my application. Seems like the sound quality wasn't that good. Used for headphone extension.

Works as advertised. Would buy again.
This cable works just fine. The one thing I did notice is that it only has a TRS connection, or Tip Ring Sleeve, which is required for stereo. What it doesn't have is the *extra* isolation ring to allow control from whatever device you're using. So I really *needed* what is known as a TRRS extension cable. In other words, the speaker I hook to my cell phone via this cable can't start and stop the music. The information doesn't make it from the speaker to the cell phone because this cable lacks a wire. Granted, this cable isn't *advertised* to be capable of this. So, four out of five stars. It works just fine, music sounds fine, I'll definitely use it and would recommend it to a friend.

Kind of lightweight
There are no loose connections here.

It works as advertised, but losse
The cable is long (100 feet, more options would be nice), it appears to be well made, and it works. However, at 100 feet the line loses are definitely noticeable. This could be easily cured by having used a larger electrical cable, e.g., 12 gauge instead of 16, or whatever it is. Fortunately, my computer audio output is sufficient to compensate for the loses. Having said that, I would recommend this cable and would purchase it again, if the need arose.

It isn't terrible, but... [EDIT: Just kidding, its pretty bad]
Bought 3, only one of them worked when they arrived. I use the term "work" loosely. The male side rotates a little too freely in the jack for my taste. This isn't an issue per se, but it can somehow mimic an inline command to pause/skip music (I can consistently do this on my android phone, however my ipod doesn't seem to have this issue, but then again, I haven't tried to replicate it on there. And no, my earbuds don't have an inline controller, although the extension is only a TRS, not TRRS, so it seems unlikely for something like this to happen, but what do I know). I can't detect a loss of audio quality, and the volumes are appropriate, so in that respect, it works. It's just that the random pausing and skipping is EXTREMELY frustrating. If you're lIke me and just want to extend the life of your headphones with a <$5 short extension cable, look elswhere, unless you're sure the cable won't move all that much (assuming you first get a working cable).EDIT: After using it with my ipod for a while I began to notice more issues. Rather than replicate an inline command, moving the cable sometimes cuts out the left channel. Okay, no big deal, thats similar to headphones. Then I noticed something very strange. At first I thought the volumes weren't balanced, but then I realized: The channels are flipped! This is ridiculous. Yea, they may be minor issues to some, but adding this on to the initial issues just makes it worse. Don't buy this junk.

Very Flimsy
Knowing fully the old adage 'You get what you pay for', I knew I wasn't getting the very best out there, and opted to take a chance. This product is very flimsy indeed, and the sound is (well) such I have to turn the volume up; to get the volume I am used to; very little Base too. Lesson learned...

What's not to like?
I'm quite pleased with this extension, which is just the right length I needed to get from the back of my PC to my desk. It's better-made than most stereo mini-cables you'll find in stores, and seems like it'll last a long time. Cheers!

Good economic choice
I had wireless headphone that kept on cutting off whenever i was moving. Now I have this extension cord (12 ft. ) that allows me to move around in my living room with AKG earbuds which came freely with my phone. It sound better, less hassle and much cheaper it's also lighter. Don't know how long it's gone last, but my first impression; it seem pretty sturdy.

Great buy
I needed this to extend my headphones wire by a couple feet. This did the trick.
