Colors are great for contrast with stained or painted boxes. Good job on variety of colors.

Smaller than expected. A bit flimsy but they will do the job. Not bad for the money.

I offer a host-a-hive program where people can host one of my beehives for free. This means that I have to transport the bees to their location and I own a small car. So this makes for some really interesting drives! Using these entrance disks (knock on wood), I haven't had any bees escape. They have held up really well to the elements. The only thing that I noticed was that the sun bleaches them which is to be expected. I've overwintered hives with these on them and they survived the Pennsylvania cold weather.

So far, so good!! These were easy to install and I love the multiple colors that the bees can use for reference when coming back to the hive. I used a 3/8 inch drill and drilled upwards so that rain could not puddle or enter the hive. Works great.

They are pretty colors and probably would have been fine if I'd realized how small they were. If you are building a layers from horizonalhive.com they are much too small.
