I am a Dental Hygienist & I work very hard to give patients the best products to use without having to do 5 different things all day every day. This is the most protective, fresh tasting, paste I have found! Use it every day, anytime, especially before bed! This keeps the bacteria from reproducing & causing decay, stops the odor associated with foaming burning toothpaste & soothes irritated tissues. I give it 2 thumbs way way up!

There is something very refreshing about using this brand. The taste is good, the effectiveness is satisfying and my only problem might be the cost. It is a bit different from what some might usually pay. Great product.

I am going to copy this same review for the mouthwash. But I wanted to give a thorough review of my experience with this product. I battled with bad breath/halitosis for a very long time. I wasn't the most diligent brusher wear i wouldn't brush twice a day. I try to but i would forget before i go to sleep. But basically my routine would be brush my teeth with "all natural" toothpaste and all natural mouthwash. But they did not cause my breath to smell fresh for a long time. So what I tried to do was use the scope tooth picks and place a dime of therabreath in my mouth so when i floss my teeth the toothpaste and the scope toothpick would go between my gums and make it smell nice. I followed with brush my teeth normally and along my gums, inside my teeth. I would use my tongue cleaner and thoroughly brush it until it was clear. I followed up with the TheraBreath plus mouthwash I would swish it around as instructed for one minute. Spit it out and fill another capful for my throat for 30 seconds and spit it out. I must say this actually worked for me. I've bought many toothpaste and mouthwash over the years and they didn't last as long as this product. As a test and my friends laugh at me for this but i place my finger in the back of my upper and bottom rows because they notoriously smelled before because of food and bacteria. There was no smell and i lick my hand with my tongue and smell it. There is no bad odor. So finally after years i found something that actually works for me. I know it's working great because I am able to speak to my colleagues face to face and i don't see them move there faces away when they talk to me directly. That's what made me want to really take care of my mouth because that is embarrassing. I don't work for the company and i rarely do reviews but I really love this product. And when I woke up the next morning and did the same thing my tongue, mouth and teeth did not smell. So i've really been using this product for a while. I think one of the things I improved on was gargle the mouthwash in my throat because it says your throat could be the source of bad breath aside from your tongue. I believe it and I don't need to use coconut oil or salt remedies anymore. This does the trick for me and I highly recommend using the product. As someone who as battled bad breath or people turning there heads i know that it works so give it a shot.

UPDATE: After sticking with this toothpaste and adding the TheraBreath Plus Mouthwash to his dental regime, my husband's breath is actually tolerable for the first time in our marriage! HOORAY!!!!! I started noticing results after he had finished the first tube so evidentally a combination of time/repeated usage and the mouthwash did the trick. This stuff is crazy expensive and worth it to me! Kissable husband is a good thing :>). ------------------------------------------- I got this with low expectations as much of bad breath comes from dietary choices, health concerns, medications, etc. My husband has hideous breath. We try any and all products that purport to eradicate bad breath. His is so bad that he can brush with the MINTIEST toothpastes on the market for a full two minutes, gargle with mint mouthwash, walk straight to bed, kiss me and make me want to hurl. That is a sad state of affairs. In the time it takes to get from bathroom to bedroom in a normal sized home you can't even smell the mint in his mouth anymore...just something prehistorically putrid. I have normal morning breath but nothing exceptional. We both dislike the texture (not enough to not use product though), brushing dry, and the feeling that you really aren't getting much action out of the toothpaste (it isn't so much about missing foaming, because I've been on long jags with baking soda in the past)...it's more about simply feeling like even with a brush full of this toothpaste, there isn't enough of it to "go around." I don't like much flavor in toothpaste and I find it has plenty of mint for my tastes. I see that others find it "tasteless." Husband finds it to be bland. After two weeks of using this I can say that it hasn't razzle dazzled me for either of us. I now use it only in the mornings since that is my breath challenged time frame. My mouth feels clean, but not exceptionally so. My breath doesn't appear to be substantially better than with any other toothpaste. I do appreciate the xylitol since I have extremely dry mouth and this helps a wee bit. It hasn't helped my husbands bad breath at all, definitely no better than any other toothpaste...disappointing.

I was really hoping this would be my new staple toothpaste. However, My teeth never felt clean after use. I did pair it with the mouthwash, which I love and always use. Not sure I’ll be buying this again, especially since it is pricey.

Ever since brushing my teeth with Thera Breath, my dental checkups have been the best ever! Don't get cavities. Used to get many 3 and 4 teeth condition; now I get 2's and 3's! And my dentist tells me to keep on doing what I'm doing. (I am 71 years old) Helen Pirog

I don’t know if I got fake stuff but this is not a paste, it is a gel. And I read reviews that says it lathers well and tastes great but there is ZERO, I repeat ZERO lather. And it smells mildly pepperminty but when brushing my teeth I taste NO peppermint. It felt like I was brushing my teeth with just a water wet toothbrush and nothing else. I’m not on Alone! I can have as many items as I want in my presence and I want toothpaste that feels and tastes like toothpaste. This stuff is EXPENSIVE too and quite frankly, if they sold this at the Dollar Store that would still be too expensive.
