If this is the only anatomy book you own, it's perfect.
Michael Hampton has taken all of Andrew Loomis' work and modernized it. This is the best book for anatomy.

One of the most effective book in anatomy
Invest in this book if you want to learn human anatomy for art. It covers the what's and why's. The gesture and anatomy is covered in great detail.

A dilemma
I have mixed feelings. On one hand I received a hardcover item when the product was supposed to be paperback for the same price, the quality of printing is also good enough unlike what some other reviews said, on another hand, compared to the versions online, the book has some differences. It could be because the edition is different, but at first glance there are some things missing or changed or shortened, which I don't necessarily appreciate because some nice illustrations that would've been useful to learn from are not there. I'm wondering if I should ask for a replacement (which doesn't guarantee getting what I want and might make things worse with me ending up with a worse copy), or just supplement what it lacks from the online versions.

Don't buy this if you're in India.
Terrible printing quality. The images are faded and pixelated. You can get a better print from your home printer

bad print
I received a terrible print-quality book, it looks like a copy of the original product and a few pages were missing. Very disappointed.
