Car HUD Head Up Display P6, OBD+GPS Smart Gauge, Works Great for Most Cars

Well this is my honest review. I was a little leery of buying this product because it said frequently returned. I received my package today installed in my car and it works perfectly. You have to be willing to mess with the settings to get it just right the way you want it. I think that's where most of the confusion is coming from. So if you've got half a brain and are somewhat mechanically inclined you shouldn't have problem using this device. I like the fact that it gives me my oil temp and also my coolant temp among many many other things. It also works as an OBD2 monitor you can read and erase codes. I installed the suction cup on my window and the bottom part I put the sticky pad so I used both and the damn thing don't go nowhere. So I'm very happy with it I won't be returning it unless it breaks within 30 days which I don't foresee. Anyway good luck to you with your purchase.

The P6 HUD is an awesome upgrade for any car. Setup was easy, and the display is bright and clear. Love that it uses both OBD and GPS, it works on most cars and shows speed, RPM, temp, and more. The alerts and custom options are super handy.Great value and highly recommended!

Began teaching my daughter how to drive, and my car only has an analog speedometer. This gives a clear digital readout that is easier for her to glance at to gauge her speed before returning her focus to the road. Very easy to route the wire and hide completely from sight. My only complaint is that the two adhesive pads they give you are garbage. I cleaned my dashboard with alcohol prior to applying and neither of them would hold in the two places I tried. Ended up using two sided gorilla tape instead.

Bought this to get a tachometer functionality because some people on a forum recommended this to get a tach for a Rav4 prime. The issue with the Rav4 prime (and not so much with this HUD) is the battery voltage is super inconsistent. Sometimes it's over 14V, sometimes its at 12.8, 12.9V, and it can interfere w/ the voltage off, so unless if you're okay at working out some inconsistencies with this display, maybe don't get one for the Rav4 prime (I mean, the product description says it's not compatible w/ hybrids).The mounting tape wasn't very strong, and the suction cup was initially not "suction" at all until I took the proper time to get it suctioned on the window, and it has held itself in place ever since. There's an included screwdriver to remove the bottom plastic plate that you adhere the double sided tape to, I opted to removing that after getting the suction cup working properly, and used a piece of tape so the little remaining plastic bits have a soft place to sit on and doesn't damage the dash.3 control buttons lets you to cycle between different display modes/entering into the settings/switching different readings on subsections of the HUD, and you're able to see readings like coolant temp, oil temp, transmission temp, turbo boost (if your car has a turbo), there's not too much customization, but there is a blanket reading page that just shows everything possible, if you need something like that.What is absolutely awful and not an excuse however, is the manual. There's like...no instructions on setting the manual, and it feels like half of the settings don't even do anything. There's also no way to disable certain warnings, like "high coolant temp warning", the only thing you can do is set it to an ungodly 200C. It also seems to shut itself off after the specified voltage after 3min regardless of what you set for the timer to turn this OBD2 off, at least that's what I assume what that setting is supposed to do, but there's no manual to tell me that. Given the price, this would absolutely be 5 stars had the manual actually detailed what all the settings did.

It works perfectly with my 2010 Toyota yaris but doesn't work on my buddies 2001 Chevy Silverado. My favorite part about it is the active fuel economy. I've tested it and it's accurate.

The turbo boost doesn’t work but other than that it’s perfect has no other issues I would definitely recommend this

Used with my 2002 Sequoia to keep tabs on the engine since it has 230K miles.Quality item, very good for keeping tabs on an older vehicle. Allows you to view most of the information coming from the ECU, including coolant temp, transmission temp, alternator voltage, some turbo information, couple other things.The display is clear during the day (no glare) and the cord that it comes with is pretty easy to route and robust. Highly recommend for older vehicle.

I took a risk, buying it to be used in a 1999 Ford E-350 van that has OBD2. My dedicated OBD2 scanner works fine on the van so I thought that I'd give this a shot. It doesn't work on the van, but they do have statements about it not working on cars before 2008. It works great on my 2003 Toyota Sequoia so I'll keep it for that instead of returning it. I've included a picture of the display error message that I get when attached to my van with the engine running.Beware when you buy it that it might not work with your vehicle.
