Sure, the PVC can be glued to a 4” schedule 40 pvc pipe so you can certainly use it as an access point.

Q: What is the pipe size? One description has 4", the other has 3". I have an existing 4" cleanout.

The part number extension shows the pipe size. The description is wrong. -ab4 means ABS 4" pipe and -pv3 means PVC 3 inch pipe. etc.

Q: what is the diameter of the cover plate?

I believe that the description says 5'' for the 4" PVC
